Job summary

The Tombs in Baltimore is seeking an Events Assistant to support wedding and corporate events across Clyde's Restaurant Group venues, including Rye Street Tavern, on the Baltimore Peninsula. You will respond to inquiries, create and revise event proposals, and help coordinate day‑of details with the Private Events Manager.

• Demonstrated interest in food and events (hospitality background preferred).
• Excellent customer service skills with polished phone manner.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries via phone or email with professionalism.
• Assist with creating and revising event proposals and packets.
• Coordinate with vendors, guest counts, and day-of setup for events.
• Ensure contracts are approved by clients prior to events and assist with invoicing.
