Clyde's Restaurant Group in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Events Assistant for Rye Street Tavern. This onsite role supports weddings and corporate events across eight spaces, handling client inquiries, proposals, and day‑of coordination within a fast‑paced hospitality setting.

You will report to the Senior Events Manager, work evenings and weekends, and enjoy flexible shifts, competitive pay, employee discounts, training, and health benefits as part of Clyde's Restaurant Group.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in food and events
• Excellent customer service skills and polished phone manner
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexible availability to work mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and weekdays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in responding to phone or email inquiries
• Assist with creating and revising event proposals
• Assemble private event packets including layouts, details, and other supporting documents
• Assist with final guest counts
• Submit and monitor vendor orders for required materials and supplies
• Ensure all contracts are approved and confirmed by the client prior to the event
• Verify billing information and assist with preparing invoices to submit to Accounting
• Coordinate regularly with the Private Events Manager regarding any client communication
• Assist with the set-up and layout of event space
• Assist with day‑of coordination as needed
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and events as needed
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned
