Job summary

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Must be available to work some nights to staff events
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Basic knowledge of restaurants and venues in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago
  • Detail oriented, creative, and innovative
  • Curious, resourceful, and eager to learn new skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Energetic team player who can work independently or collaboratively

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and execution of meetings, conferences, dinners, and employee events
  • On-site support at fast-paced events, including: manage event registration and check-in; take event photos for marketing materials; coordinate with venue managers and vendors
  • Distribute event collateral and gifts; assist with set-up, tear-down, and onsite coordination
  • Work after-hours as needed for events
  • Organize and purchase supplies for events as required
  • Manage attendee lists and create/print/prepare name tags
  • Handle administrative projects and day-to-day tasks related to events
  • Conduct venue research and outreach; maintain venue/vendor tracker
  • Manage payment requests, track invoices, and expense management for events
  • Support event reporting and maintain the events calendar and folders
  • Provide administrative support to the Events team as needed

Work Location & Compensation

Work Location: Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York office at least 4 days per week.

Salary: Annual base salary between $50,000 - $65,000. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary based on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only; total compensation may include other components such as incentive compensation.
