Description

Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events Assistant to support the planning and execution of our diverse range of events. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, efficient, and passionate about creating memorable experiences. The Events Assistant will work closely with the Events Manager and other team members to ensure every detail of our events is flawlessly executed from start to finish.



Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events from concept to completion


  • Coordinate logistics such as venue setup, equipment, transportation, and scheduling


  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely delivery and execution


  • Manage registration lists, event materials, and inventory


  • Provide on-site event support, including setup, attendee coordination, and breakdown


  • Monitor budgets and assist in maintaining accurate expense records


  • Prepare post-event reports and gather feedback for continuous improvement


  • Support marketing and communication efforts related to event promotion (print-based and internal channels only)




Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field


  • 1–2 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or administrative support


  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities


  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling tools


  • Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends depending on event schedules
