Job summary

Legends is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate and execute warehouse operations across the venue, under the Warehouse Manager. You will support event planning, delegate tasks to staff, and ensure safety, organization and sanitation in all warehousing areas.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1+ year supervisory experience in entertainment or convention center venues, with lifting up to 50 pounds and flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school degree.
• Two years’ experience in receipt, storage or distribution of food and beverage, supplies or equipment, including at least 1 year at the supervisory level in an entertainment or convention center venue.
• Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.
• Ability to understand written and oral direction and to communicate same with others.
• Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds in weight (boxes).
• Hours are often extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute warehouse operations and procedures to ensure departmental effectiveness and efficiency.
• Support planning and preparation for events by assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities to warehouse staff.
• Maintain highest levels of safety, organization and sanitation in all warehousing and storage areas.
• Control cataloging, inventory, storage and distribution of materials, equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate warehousing activities with management team.
• Receive, store and distribute supplies and equipment in large centralized warehousing operations.
