Qualifications

• High school diploma or better.
• Two years' experience in receipt, storage or distribution of food, supplies or equipment, with at least 1 year supervisory in an entertainment or convention center venue.
• Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.
• Ability to understand written and oral direction and communicate accordingly.
• Requires lifting up to 50 pounds, occasional.
• Hours often extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute warehouse operations and procedures to ensure department effectiveness and efficiency.
• Assist planning and preparation for events, assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities to warehouse staff.
• Maintain high levels of safety, organization and sanitation in warehousing and storage areas.
• Ensure control procedures for cataloging, inventory and distribution of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate warehousing activities with management team.
• Receive, store and distribute supplies and equipment in large centralized warehousing operations.
• Use storage systems to maximize space and efficiency.
• Submit reports of damage, outdated stock, or discrepancies; reconcile invoices and arrange emergency shipments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
