Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Two years’ experience in receipt, storage or distribution of food, beverage, supplies or equipment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role in an entertainment or convention center venue.
• Ability to promote and participate in a team environment.
• Ability to understand written and oral directions and communicate them clearly.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds (boxes).
• Hours often extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control procedures for cataloging, inventory control, bulk storage and distribution of materials, equipment and supplies; assist in maintaining the supply system.
• Coordinate all warehousing activities with the management team.
• Receive, store and distribute supplies and equipment in large centralized warehousing operations.
• Use storage systems and procedures to maximize space and efficiency.
• Submit reports of damage, outdated stock, over/under shipments or returns to vendors.
