Job summary

AEG seeks a Maintenance Specialist to ensure the venue’s functionality before, during, and after concerts and events. You will handle painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and construction tasks to keep the venue at its best.

You will oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance projects, coordinate with vendors, and may supervise part-time cleaners, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and some holidays.

• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, event and regularly scheduled cleaning and maintenance projects.
• Responsible for the overall maintenance of the venue, including carpet repair/cleaning, painting of interior/exterior, elevator repair, bathroom maintenance, upkeep of air-conditioning and heating, electrical and plumbing work, other repairs/maintenance as needed.
• Assist with inspecting systems to detect malfunctions and determine repair solutions.
• Develop standard procedures for cleanliness and upkeep of venue and assets.
• Assist with purchasing work materials as needed or directed.
• Schedule and supervise part-time cleaners according to venue event schedules.
• Coordinate with outside vendors on repair and maintenance work, building set props and decorations and assisting with production as needed.
