Grand Casino Mille Lacs is seeking a Banquet Bartender to deliver consistent, welcoming service across outlets and keep drinks flowing smoothly. You’ll work with a team to ensure guest satisfaction and raise the bar for service.

Responsibilities include mixing drinks, maintaining a clean station, and coordinating with Captains, Servers, and staff. A minimum of one year bartending/serving experience and Alcohol Awareness Training within 2 months of hire are required.

Qualifications

• One year of bartending and/or serving experience.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes and safe serving practices.
• Must be able to secure a license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR's) compliance.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on established recipes.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized station.
• Follow cash handling and over/short policies with accuracy.
• Provide friendly, suggestive service and engage with guests.
• Coordinate with Banquet Captains, Servers and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and other outlet coverage as needed.

As the Banquet Bartender, you'll be a familiar face in a variety of outlets, delivering exceptional service with confidence and care. What You'll Do

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on established recipes and procedures
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and ready to go - every shift, no surprises
• Follow Grand Casino's cash handling and over/short policies with accuracy and care
• Take and fill drink orders efficiently and courteously
• Use your knowledge of menus and offerings to provide friendly, suggestive service
• Communicate with Banquet Captains, Servers, and team members to keep things running smoothly
• Handle guest questions and concerns with respect and quick solutions
• Support the team with side work, opening/closing duties, and other outlet coverage as needed (including room service and amphitheater venues)
• Stay in the know about safety, regulations, and responsibilities under the Dram Shop Act
• Maintain clean, sanitary workspaces that meet health regulations

What You Bring

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by Guest needs or event schedules.
• Will involve standing/walking for extended periods and light lifting during events.
