Job summary

The University of Arizona seeks a part-time Ticket Office Assistant to join Arizona Arts Live at Centennial Hall. You will sell tickets, take payments, direct patrons to seating, and assist with accessibility needs and event information.

This role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of relevant experience, and the ability to lift 20 lbs. It offers a 0.49 FTE schedule with hourly pay and community-focused performances.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet the physical lifting requirements: employee should be able to frequently lift/move/transport 20lbs of weight.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets, takes payments and provides accurate information to patrons of Centennial Hall.
• Collects tickets from patrons and ensures tickets are valid.
• Supervises student staff intermittently.
• Directs patrons to their seating locations.
• Provides information to patrons regarding the events and special facilities for the disabled, provides directions and/or parking alternatives request for visitors, students, staff and faculty.
• Helps with set-up and take-down of lobby/patio.
• Follows all ADA and safety protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
