Job summary

Wolters Kluwer Global Event Management seeks a technology-driven event professional to lead enterprise digital experiences and drive innovation across a global portfolio.

Reporting to the Director, Global Event Management, you will own Cvent configuration, system integrations, and data analytics, collaborating with marketing and sales to ensure a seamless attendee experience from concept to post-event analysis.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in event technology or digital event platforms.
  • Advanced Cvent expertise including complex registration paths, website builds, reporting.
  • Experience with system integrations (CRM, marketing automation, APIs, SSO).
  • Strong project management and ability to work across global teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and guide event technology strategy and execution for events.
  • Serve as a Cvent platform expert, including advanced configuration and reporting.
  • Design and build high-impact event websites aligned with brand standards.
  • Lead integrations between Cvent and other systems ensuring data flow.
  • Translate vision into digital experiences and propose enhancements.
  • Oversee registration, apps, communications, surveys, reporting, and onsite tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy and analytics to inform decisions.
  • Support end-to-end event execution from concept to post-event analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales and cross-functional teams for alignment.
  • Help establish best practices, templates, and standardized processes.

Job description

As part of the Wolters Kluwer Global Event Management team, this role will play a critical role in delivering a best-in-class, technology-driven event program across the enterprise. Reporting to the Director, Global Event Management, this role serves as a subject matter expert for event technology, driving innovation, scalability, and execution excellence across a dynamic global portfolio.

This position is remote, with approximately 25% travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and guide event technology strategy and execution for events, ensuring scalable, consistent, and innovative solutions, including the use of AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency and experience.
  • Serve as a Cvent platform expert, including advanced configuration, registration builds, website design, reporting, and system optimization.
  • Design and build high-impact event websites that align with brand standards and deliver an exceptional user experience.
  • Lead integration efforts between Cvent and other systems (CRM, marketing automation, SSO, data tools), ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Translate event and stakeholder vision into fully realized digital experiences, proactively recommending enhancements and solutions.
  • Oversee all event technology components including registration, event apps, communications, surveys, reporting, and onsite tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and analytics insights to inform decision-making and measure success.
  • Support end-to-end event execution from concept through post-event analysis, with a strong focus on operational excellence.
  • Partner closely with marketing, sales, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on messaging, branding, and attendee experience.
  • Help establish and maintain best practices, templates, and standardized processes for event technology across the team.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, including scoping, negotiation, and performance oversight.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in event technology, digital event platforms, or event management with a strong technical focus.
  • Advanced expertise in Cvent (Event Management + SMM) is required, including complex registration paths, website builds, reporting, and platform administration.
  • Proven experience in event website design with a strong eye for user experience, branding, and functionality.
  • Hands-on experience with system integrations (e.g., CRM, marketing automation platforms, APIs, SSO) and understanding of data flow between systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a concept or vision and execute it independently, delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and collaborating across global teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering a seamless attendee experience.
  • Proven ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

Compensation:

$71,300.00 - $124,500.00 USD

This role is eligible for Bonus.

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
