Job summary

OC Sports & Entertainment, LLC is seeking an Event Technician to support live events on-site in Anaheim. The role includes operating LD/Stage management duties and assisting with various tech positions across the production crew.

The position requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, knowledge of broadcast/production gear, and a willingness to cross-train for different roles while working flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in TV/Film production, live event management, or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Ikegami HDK-95C, Ross Acuity 3, Ross Xpression, Ross Inception, Evertz DreamCatcher, Daktronics Show Control & Venus 7000, Yamaha CL5 Audio Board.
• Willing and able to learn additional positions and cross-train when possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for live events, including Daktronics ribbons, audio booth, and stage manager duties.
• Participate in rehearsals, including sound check, communication device check, camera setup, and playlist/scripts review.

Pay Details:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour.

Pay Range: $24.00- $49.00

This position will primarily function as part of the live event presentation crew, focusing on various live events. The Event Tech will work at least one or more of the following positions:

Event Tech 1 ($49.00)

• LD1 or Light Board Operator (GrandMA3/HOG)

• Stage Manager

• A1

Event Tech 2 ($41.00)

• LD2

• A2

Event Tech 3 ($27.00)

• Stagehands

Event Tech 4 ($24.00)

• Runners

Responsibilities
