Job summary

Cadence Design Systems, Inc. is seeking an Event Technology Specialist to own the technology stack behind live and virtual events, including registration systems, event apps, webinars, and engagement tools. You’ll work with planners to setup, test, and execute flawlessly across regions, ensuring brand consistency and data capture.

You will troubleshoot issues, develop documentation, and train teams while partnering with vendors for customized solutions and smooth event experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of relevant event technology experience.
• Proficiency with event management tools; strong vendor coordination.
• Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage event websites, mobile apps, webinars, and related software platforms.
• Configure platforms for a frictionless user experience.
• Collaborate with the Event Lead to manage timelines and budgets across workstreams; ensure brand consistency.
• Test and confirm event technology functions before and during events and ensure data integrity.
• Partner with vendors to customize platforms and ensure successful implementations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues before/during events with calm under pressure.
• Develop and deliver training materials and maintain documentation for supported systems.
• Evaluate outcomes and propose strategic adjustments to improve tech support and user experience.
