Fixins Soul Kitchen in Detroit is seeking Temporary Event Staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences at catered events, private functions, and community gatherings. You may support Front of House or Back of House operations to maintain a welcoming, high-energy environment while ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served with excellence.

Team members may be assigned to Front of House, Back of House, catering delivery, event setup/breakdown, or other event support roles based on business

Qualifications

• Speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handler’s Card and RBS Certification if required by law (certifications vary by state).

Responsabilités

• Deliver friendly, professional hospitality and create a welcoming, high-energy event atmosphere.
• Support Front of House and/or Back of House operations as needed.
• Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown including tables and stations.
• Prepare, package, serve, or deliver food and beverages per Fixins standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest and kitchen areas throughout the event.
