BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Security professional for the University of Wisconsin in Madison. This part-time role blends event staff duties with security tasks to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for attendees.

Qualifications include a HS diploma (some college preferred), 18+ years old, and strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Background checks and possibly a security license are required, with evening/weekend availability expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Previous event security experience is advantageous.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a security license where required.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and equipment/signage arrangement.
• Monitor access points and conduct security checks.
• Provide friendly customer service and help attendees with inquiries.
• Collaborate with staff and security to maintain safety.
• Assist in crowd management and flow control.
