Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is seeking part-time event staff to join our security and operations team in West Lafayette, IN. Earn $15/hour with flexible scheduling under 30 hours/week at stadiums, concerts, festivals and convention centers.

Core duties include assisting in event day prep, scanning tickets, directing guests, and upholding venue policies. You will greet guests, provide directions, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; background check and drug/alcohol test may be needed.
• Professional, articulate; able to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
• Overtime availability may be required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Allows appropriate entry into each venue, may collect/scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic.
• Understands policies and regulations of venues and events.
• Greets guests warmly and thanks them as they exit the facility.
• Provides directions and suggestions to enhance guests' experience.
• Maintains a friendly tone and natural speaking voice.
