Job summary

Goodwill Staffing, part of Goodwill of Colorado, is seeking an Event Staff Custodian to help keep venues clean, safe, and welcoming for guests during events. No experience required; training provided; part-time hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays when events occur.

Responsibilities include trash removal, restroom maintenance, sweeping, mopping, cleaning common areas, and assisting with event setup and breakdown.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of custodial, janitorial, or event setup experience.
• Physical stamina: stand or walk long hours, bend, squat, climb ladders, lift 50+ pounds.
• Communication: good interpersonal skills to assist guests and coordinate with operations teams.
• Flexibility: willing to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Trash removal in event spaces and client sites.
• Restroom maintenance and general cleaning of common areas.
• Sweeping and mopping floors; cleaning surfaces.
• Assisting with event setup and breakdown; coordinating with staff.

Job description

Pay Range: $15.16

Work Schedule: Part-Time; flexible availability required , weekends, and holidays if required.

This position is eligible for Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. All employees may also make pre-tax or post-tax (Roth) contributions to our retirement plan – must be 18 years of age to participate.
