Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking Event Staff for our Hartford, CT venue. You will work under our security team and event manager, greet guests, assist with seating, and help with banquet setup and teardown. The role requires stamina and a strong customer-service focus, with morning, afternoon, weekend, and evening shifts.

Banquet experience is preferred but training will be provided. A background check is required; full-time employment includes benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read and understand the Banquet Event Order.
• Support other staff members.

• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Event Staff Overview:

Event Staff is responsible for working under the instructions of our security team and an event manager, welcoming guests, crowd maintenance, inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking equipment against inventory list among other duties. Event staff needs to constantly be on their feet and attend to the many needs of event goers, requiring physical stamina and high energy levels. Customer service focus with periods of greeting and providing information to patrons about the events at the center. Morning, afternoon, weekends and evening shifts.
