Job summary

Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa is seeking a Full-time Houseperson – Event Set-up. The role entails setting up and breaking down meeting spaces with tables, chairs, water, and related equipment, requiring communication with banquet teams and physical stamina.

Flexibility with schedules, the ability to lift a moderate weight, and attention to detail are essential. Prior hotel convention service is a plus in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull a moderate amount of weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Prior hotel convention service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet spaces with tables, chairs, and water.
• Coordinate with banquet captains, event planners, and events teams.
• Move equipment in and out of hotel function spaces as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina.
• Ensure event spaces meet specifications and maintain attention to detail.
