Job summary

ZMC Hotels, LLC is seeking a versatile events associate to set up and manage a variety of gatherings, from small meetings to larger company events. You will transform client preferences into ready-to-use spaces and stay on hand during the event to assist as needed.

The role requires stamina to stand for long periods, a flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends, and a professional demeanor. If you take pride in service and teamwork, this position offers opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand/walk for up to eight (8) hours.
• Attendant must be able to withstand physical requirements (ex. moving items like chairs and table).
• Must have a flexible schedule (early AM, late nights, and weekend availability).
• Presentation, honesty, and a respectable attitude are very important for this position.

Responsibilities

• Set up the event how the client prefers and make sure that the area, chairs, and cloth material is cleaned and presentable.
• Set up tables and other equipment along with any other items that would be expected.
• Periodically check in with the client during the event to ensure there is nothing they need and removing items if necessary (water pitchers, plates, etc.).
• Set up Audio-Visual Equipment, Troubleshooting, Inventory Stocking and Rotation, and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
