Hyatt Regency Dallas is seeking an Event Set-Up Supervisor to lead the furniture staging for meetings and events downtown beside Reunion Tower. The role offers growth within a renowned hotel team and opportunities to develop leadership, coaching, and operations skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise setup crews, coordinate with clients, review daily planning, and ensure all spaces meet specifications. Proactive communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Leads and coaches the event set-up team to manage furniture and staging.
• Interviews, onboarding, training, scheduling, payroll, inventory, and forecasting responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises setup and arrangement of furniture in meeting rooms and conference halls.
• Holds a pre-shift briefing with convention services housemen.
• Reviews the Daily Detail Report for accuracy and day-to-day planning.
• Oversees housemen and directs task assignments.
• Assists with busy convention setup and event teardown.
• Moves carts with chairs, tables, and stage pieces as needed.
• Consults with clients to adjust event setup and furniture placement.
• Inspects rooms after setup to ensure specifications.
• Allows for additional seating or furniture changes as requested.
• Provides training and coaching to housepersons.
