Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Event Set Up Houseperson at Grand Hyatt Denver. You will set up and break down meeting rooms with tables, chairs, water stations, risers, linens and related equipment, working alone or with a team to assist Hyatt guests with their needs.

The role requires excellent communication, prior customer service experience, and the ability to lift and move moderate to heavy weights.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify written numbers.
• Must be comfortable making basic conversation with guests.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull a moderate amount of weight.
• Must be able to stand or walk for the duration of the shift.
• Candidate must have open availability for mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays.

• Set up and break down meeting rooms with tables, chairs, water stations, risers, linens, etc.
• Interact with Hyatt guests and assist them with their requests.

The Event Set Up Houseperson Flex Shifts at the Grand Hyatt Denver is responsible for working alone or as part of a team to set up and break down meeting rooms with tables, chairs, water stations, risers, linens, etc. An Event Set Up Houseperson has the opportunity to interact with Hyatt guests and assist them with their requests.

Candidates must have the following skills:

• Must have good communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• This position requires the ability to lift, push and carry moderate to heavy weight on a consistent basis, and involves a great deal of standing and walking.
