Job summary

SeaWorld Orlando is seeking an Event Services Specialist for Small Groups to plan and execute small-scale events within the theme park, coordinating logistics and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

You will serve as primary contact for clients, manage venue setup, catering, A/V, transportation, collaborate with internal teams, help with budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and park policies, with weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, business, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or theme park operations preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a guest-first approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of small group events, from initial inquiry to event completion, ensuring smooth execution within the theme park environment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for small group clients, understanding their needs and providing personalized event solutions
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, audiovisual needs, and transportation.
  • Work closely with internal teams (operations, entertainment, food & beverage, attractions) and external vendors to ensure all event elements align with park policies and brand standards
  • Assist in budget preparation, track expenses, and ensure compliance with contract terms and company policies.
  • Oversee event execution, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth experience for attendees.
  • Gather feedback from clients and stakeholders to assess event success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all events comply with park safety guidelines, health regulations, and operational protocols

Job Summary

The Event Services Specialist for Small Groups is responsible for planning and executing small-scale events within the theme park.
