Job summary

The University of Georgia's Center for Continuing Education & Hotel seeks an Event Services Coordinator to support the Event Services Department, coordinating conference room setup and client communications across the campus.

You will provide technical management for AV systems in auditoriums, test equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate high-end support with IT staff to ensure flawless presentations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience
• Assist with event services, AV setup, and client coordination
• Able to operate AV equipment and basic repairs as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist the department manager with event services and coordination
• Provide interoffice communications and conference room setup management
• Provide technical management for AV equipment and systems in auditoriums
• Coordinate with IT staff and research AV products for upgrades
