Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is accepting applications for a full-time Conference Services Attendant at 50 Rockefeller Plaza, New York. You will ensure meeting rooms and public areas remain in top condition and meet all conference requirements before start times.

Role requires prior catering and customer service experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and solid Microsoft Office skills. Competitive hourly pay with benefits and opportunities for career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous catering and customer service experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Moves and places tables, chairs, and supply linens for each event in the conference center.
• Sets up items not included in the room (flipcharts, whiteboard, screens, etc.).
• Assists with conference room readiness and ensures rooms are equipped with pens, pads, handouts, and event packages.
• Refreshes rooms between meetings and provides prompt service as scheduled.
• Maintains phone and email communications with clients, guests, and staff.
• Gives directions and escorts visitors to conference rooms as needed.
• Coordinates with partners to share updated information and solutions for setup challenges.
• Performs basic audio visual support and maintains inventory of supplies.
