Restaurant Associates is seeking an on-call Conference Services Attendant at Bloomberg, Skillman, NJ. The role requires prior customer service experience and involves setting up meeting spaces, assisting with AV, and coordinating with clients and staff. The position pays $22.00 per hour and requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Schedule is on call with varying days from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Applications are accepted online.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Moves and places tables, chairs, and supply linens for each event in the conference center.
• Sets up items not included in the room (flipcharts, whiteboard, screens, etc.).
• Ensures conference room readiness with proper materials (pens, pads, handouts, etc.).
• Provides prompt and detailed service as scheduled by management or by request.
• Maintains phone and email communication with clients, guests, team members, and support departments.
• Assists clients and visitors, including directions and escorting to conference rooms.
• Communicates with co-workers and service partners to share updated information.
• Offers recommendations to planning managers for suitable room setups.
• Conducts weekly site inspections and notifies departments for service needed.
• Assists with basic audiovisual equipment as needed.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and notifies when restocking is needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
