Job summary

The position requires professionalism, strong teamwork, and the ability to stand for long periods with up to 25 lbs lifting. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Banquet/catering hospitality experience preferred.
• Provide formal guest-focused service in upscale environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Food safety and alcohol service certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality food and beverage service during banquets, receptions, and events.
• Set up, service, and break down banquet rooms per orders and brand standards.
• Serve plated meals, buffets, and hors d’oeuvres with precision and professionalism.
• Provide polished table, beverage, and wine service while anticipating guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after functions.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Collaborate with banquet captains, culinary teams, and fellow servers to ensure seamless event execution.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns.
• Adhere to luxury service etiquette, grooming standards, and uniform requirements.

The Miraval Event Server provides exceptional food and beverage service for meal periods, meetings, weddings, various galas. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, flexibility in scheduling, and a commitment to delivering a refined guest experience consistently elevating Miraval Berkshires standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Deliver high‑quality food and beverage service during banquets, receptions, and special events
• Set up, service, and break down banquet rooms according to event orders and brand standards
• Serve plated meals, buffets, and passed hors d’oeuvres with precision and professionalism
• Provide polished table, beverage, and wine service while anticipating guest needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after functions
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
• Collaborate with banquet captains, culinary teams, and fellow servers to ensure seamless event execution
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
• Adhere to luxury service etiquette, grooming standards, and uniform requirements

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00/hour.
