Job summary

ONTHEMARC is seeking an Event Server to deliver smooth, high-quality catered event service from setup through breakdown, reporting to the Event Captain. You will set up spaces, assist with loading, serve meals, replenish stations, and maintain clean, guest-ready service areas while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experienced in food service, catering, hospitality, or event operations.
• Polite, professional, and guest-focused in fast-paced environments.
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally, with correct grammar.
• Comfortable following detailed instructions and executing service steps.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces, including tables, chairs, buffets, linens, silverware, glassware, china, and other rentals and décor.
• Break down event spaces efficiently, ensuring rentals, décor, and service items are properly sorted and packed.
• Assist with loading and unloading catering trucks and moving equipment safely.
• Execute table service meals, including wine and coffee service, with attention to timing and presentation.
• Replenish food and beverage stations to maintain a consistent guest experience.
