Job summary

ONTHEMARC is seeking an Event Server to deliver smooth, high-quality catered event service from setup through breakdown, reporting to the Event Captain.

You will work in a fast-paced, guest-focused hospitality environment, coordinating with team members to ensure timely wine and coffee service, clean stations, and accurate information for guests.

Flexible schedule required with nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; thrive in teamwork and doing what’s needed to support events.

Qualifications

• Experienced in food service, catering, hospitality, or event operations.
• Polite, professional, and guest-focused in fast-paced environments.
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally, including grammar and detailed information.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces, including tables, chairs, buffets, linens, silverware, glassware, china, and other rentals and décor.
• Break down event spaces efficiently and ensure all rentals and items are packed.
• Assist with loading and unloading catering trucks and moving equipment safely.
• Execute table service meals and coordinate wine/coffee service with timing and presentation.
• Maintain clean, organized buffets and service areas during service.
• Provide guests with accurate information on food and beverage offerings.
• Follow safety guidelines and support catering management and leads.
