Job summary

Jekyll Island Club Resort is seeking an Event Server to help create unforgettable weddings, banquets, and corporate events on Georgia's coast. You will work with our Banquets & Events team to deliver polished, attentive service and ensure every guest feels welcomed.

Ideal candidates are energetic, dependable, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Prior hospitality experience is preferred, and we offer competitive pay and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in serving, banquet, restaurant, or hospitality is preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are important.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on events.
• Provide professional, friendly, and attentive guest service.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional food and beverage service during weddings, banquets, corporate meetings, receptions, and special events.
• Set and prepare tables, buffets, and service areas.
• Serve plated meals, buffets, hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and other offerings.
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain high standards of service.
• Clear tables and keep event spaces organized.
• Assist banquet team with event setup and breakdown.
• Follow event orders and service standards.
• Work closely with team to keep events running smoothly.
• Represent the resort with professionalism and hospitality.
