Job summary

Jekyll Island Club Resort is seeking an Event Server to deliver polished food and beverage service for weddings, banquets, corporate meetings, and special events. You will work with the Banquets & Events team to ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for, from intimate dinners to large receptions.

Qualifications

• Experience in serving, banquet, restaurant, or hospitality is preferred
• Must be energetic, friendly, dependable and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional food and beverage service during weddings, banquets, corporate meetings, receptions, and special events
• Set and prepare tables, buffets, and service areas
• Serve plated meals, buffets, hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and event offerings
• Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive service
• Clear tables and maintain clean event spaces
• Assist banquet team with event setup and breakdown
• Follow event orders and service standards
• Work with team to keep events running smoothly
• Represent the resort with professionalism and hospitality
