Job summary

At Your Service LLC seeks a part-time Event Security Team Member for evening and weekend shifts at multiple venues in Chicago, IL. You will help enforce venue policies and ensure guests have a safe, enjoyable experience during events.

Requirements include a 20-hour security training certificate and at least 1 year of security experience, plus strong communication and teamwork skills. Starting pay is $20.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a 20-hour security training certificate
• At least 1 year of security experience
• Event crowd management experience or Criminal Justice studies preferred
• Must be able to follow directions and provide excellent guest service
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal communication and strong people skills

Responsibilities

• Promote family atmosphere, guest enjoyment, and safety
• Enforce all guest conduct policies
• Assist guests with disabilities
• Provide guest information and directions
• Report unsafe conditions promptly
• Escort athletes/performers as directed
• Perform bag searches at gates when required
• Clear seating areas and concourses after events
• Prevent alcohol from leaving the venue
• Support Guest Services and Guest Relations as needed
• Miscellaneous event-day operational duties
