Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services in Punta Gorda, FL is hiring part-time Event Security personnel to support sports, concerts, and festivals. You will check bags, enforce access control, and provide superior guest service while maintaining safety at the venue.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role offers flexible part-time scheduling, weekly pay, and opportunities to gain event-site experience in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be state/local; may be required prior to employment.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test required.
• Able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Direct entry, verify wristbands/badges, and manage entry flow.
• Screen guests at entry via bag search, wand, or metal detector.
• Protect guests, staff, and venue assets.
• Respond quickly to crowd-control issues and provide escorts when needed.
• Demonstrate understanding of venue policies and regulations.
• Provide directions and help guests to enhance their experience.
