Job summary

DAI, INC is seeking dedicated Event Security personnel to join our team in Frederick, MD for the Great Frederick Fair from September 18 to September 26, 2026. You will help keep attendees safe and events running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include access control, crowd management, bag checks, and coordination with staff and law enforcement. A security background and proper licensing are required or to be pursued by Sept 12, 2026.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
• Maryland Security Guard card required or willing to take course on Sept 12, 2026.
• Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access points to ensure only authorized individuals enter designated areas.
• Conduct crowd management and maintain order during events.
• Perform bag checks, ID verification, and screening procedures as required.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies and coordinate with staff and law enforcement.
