Job summary

DAI, INC is seeking dedicated Event Security personnel to join our team in Frederick, MD for the Great Frederick Fair from September 18 to September 26, 2026. You will help keep attendees safe and events running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include access control, crowd management, bag checks, and coordination with staff and law enforcement. A security background and proper licensing are required or to be pursued by Sept 12, 2026.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
• Maryland Security Guard card required or willing to take course on Sept 12, 2026.
• Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We are looking for immediate help at the Great Frederick Fair September 18- September 26, 2026. Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access points at event venues to ensure only authorized individuals enter designated areas
• Conduct crowd management and maintain order throughout the duration of events
• Perform bag checks, ID verification, and screening procedures as required
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies
• Coordinate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed
• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activity or security threats
• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing venue rules and regulations

Requirements

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred
• Must have Maryland Security Guard card, or willing to take course on Sept 12, 2026
• Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods of time
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance
• Valid security license or willingness to obtain required certifications
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass a background check
