Job summary

KRE Security, LLC is hiring Event Security Guards for a September fair in Port Royal, PA. Seasonal positions with flexible shifts, offering $17.00–$19.00 per hour. You will help keep guests safe, manage crowds, and support event staff in a fast-paced environment.

Join an energetic team and gain experience in event security, with potential for ongoing assignments throughout the year. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, military, law enforcement, customer service, hospitality or event work is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working around large crowds and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence.
• Assist with crowd management and movement of pedestrians.
• Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and restricted locations.
• Enforce event policies and safety procedures and provide directions to guests.
• Identify and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies per supervisor instructions.

What You'll Do

Your job is to help make sure everyone has a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain a visible and professional security presence

Assist with crowd management and pedestrian flow

Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and restricted locations

Help enforce event policies and safety procedures

Provide directions and assistance to guests

Identify and report suspicious activity or safety concerns

Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies

Follow instructions from KRE supervisors and event management

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are:

Professional and comfortable working with the public

Comfortable working around large crowds

Able to stand and walk for extended periods

Calm and professional in a busy environment

Available for September event shifts

Able to reliably travel to Port Royal, PA

Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, customer service, hospitality, or event work is preferred but not required.

All applicants must successfully complete required pre-employment screening and applicable onboarding requirements.
