Job description

The AMS Marketing Executive position offers a base wage of $17.50 per hour with additional production pay, resulting in an annual pay range (including base wages and production pay) estimated between $12,000 and $113,000.

Hyatt Vacation Club, a leader in the vacation ownership industry, is seeking motivated individuals to join our award-winning sales and marketing team. We are looking for outgoing, driven individuals who are financially motivated to engage with guests at events and off-property locations such as MLB, NBA, NHL games, concerts, theme parks, malls, fairs, and trade shows to promote the Hyatt Vacation Club Program. As an Event Sales & Marketing Agent (OPC), you will offer guests financial incentives in exchange for learning about our points-based ownership product.

Pay: $17.50 per hour plus bonuses/commissions, with up to $250/week additional training pay for the first 10 weeks.

Schedule: Part-time, 3-4 days per week, with varying schedules depending on events; night and weekend availability required.

Must be available to attend events throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County.

Currently offering a $1,000 Sign-On bonus.*

  • Scheduling and conducting sales presentations or offering specially priced vacation packages at events and off-site locations like shopping malls and airports.
  • Providing excellent service to exceed sales and volume goals.
  • Ensuring guests meet eligibility requirements and are receptive to learning about Hyatt Vacation Club products and services.

Guest Experience and Company Standards

  • Welcoming and greeting guests; anticipating and addressing their needs.
  • Interacting professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests.
  • Contributing to team goals.
  • Following company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications to become an Event Sales & Marketing Agent/OPC Marketing Coordinator include:

  • High motivation, sales or customer service experience, and enjoyment of guest interactions.
  • Availability for flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Service-focused attitude; sales experience preferred.
  • Background and drug screening may be required per company policy and legal requirements.
  • Physical ability to reach overhead, bend, twist, pull, and stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Possibility to operate company vehicles, including golf carts, following policies and standards.
