Job summary

Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is seeking an entry-level Meeting Connections Manager in the hotel sales department. You will be the primary contact for clients, selling groups of 10–150 rooms on peak nights from inquiry through contract, coordinating with multiple hotel departments to ensure exceptional service.

Responsibilities include building client relationships, developing new leads, and managing direct client outreach via calls and online leads.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years previous hotel experience.
• 1 year hotel sales experience.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training program or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized service.
• Handle accounts and maintain a revenue quota.
• Develops new leads and researches new business potential within an assigned market.
• Makes direct calls to potential clients and manages internet-based lead sources.
