Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment's Shoreline Amphitheatre is seeking a Safety Ambassador to safeguard patrons and employees. You will patrol the venue, respond to safety calls promptly, and help guide people to exits in emergencies while maintaining a professional appearance.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong English communication, calmness under pressure, and the ability to walk, stand, and lift. You will work with security, medical staff and first responders to enforce policies and

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Understanding of law and relevant penal codes.
• Represent the Safety Ambassador Department professionally.
• Ability to perform under crisis and pressure without losing composure.
• Ability to remember and retrieve information quickly.
• Ability to interact calmly with agitated patrons and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of patrons and employees.
• Conduct regular patrols of the venue building.
• Respond promptly to all safety-related calls.
• Maintain exemplary conduct and appearance while on duty.
• Manage crowd flows through various venue areas.
• Guide patrons to exits in emergencies.
• Identify problem attendees and respond appropriately.
• Coordinate with Security, medical staff, and first responders.
• Comply with department performance, conduct and attendance standards.
• Perform duties across tasks without loss of efficiency.
• Follow instructions from Safety Supervisors and Event Safety Manager.
• Adhere to department policies and procedures.
• Assist incident report writers with details.
• Complete tasks within guidelines and deadlines.
• Interact courteously with patrons, vendors, and employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
