Job summary

Encore is seeking a hands-on Rigging Specialist to manage venue rigging operations in hotels and convention environments. The role involves leading a crew, coordinating with clients, and ensuring safety and compliance per Encore SOPs.

You will supervise rigging teams, perform load-in/out tasks, and maintain high safety standards while working irregular hours and weekends in hospitality venues. This position requires ETCP/MEWP credentials and strong communication with clients.

Qualifications

• On-site rigging experience required.
• ETCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• MEWP operation experience required.
• Ground rigging experience
• Experience supervising a rigging team is essential.

Responsibilities

• Advance, supervise, and execute event rigging plots as necessary.
• Coordinate and assign rigging related tasks to crew.
• Supervise crew building truss as needed.
• Establish hangs points, connect attachments to rigging points per Encore SOPs.
• Inspect rigging equipment and ensure safety during events.
• Remain on site until all rigs are completed and client signs off.
