Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a dependable Operations Housekeeper for the Hampton Roads Convention Center. The role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff, supporting event readiness through janitorial tasks and setup/breakdown activities.

The position is part-time, non-exempt, with a compensation of $17.00 hourly. Candidates should have at least six months of janitorial experience and be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred in a convention center, arena, hotel, or similar facility.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of the facility including floors, restrooms, and surfaces.
• Operate floor scrubbers and carpet extractors safely and effectively.
• Set up and break down event spaces and equipment as needed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment, report maintenance needs.
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
