Job summary

Design Cuisine is seeking an Event Producer to manage events in the VA/DC/MD area. You will work with clients, account executives, and on-site staff to plan, execute, and optimize every event.

Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor coordination, timelines, and ensuring guest satisfaction. You must have 3+ years in event planning or management, hospitality experience, and strong computer and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior administrative experience.
• 3+ years of experience in event planning, sales or event management.
• Prior hotel/hospitality/catering experience required.
• Excellent computer skills including Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate work-related information to coworkers, supervisors, vendors and clients.
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate business levels.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork and quality service through cross‑department coordination.
• Attend, oversee and execute events as identified.
• Partner with Account Executives in calendar and appointments for logistics and meetings.
• Prepare event documents, timelines, and coordination with departments.
• Be onsite to ensure proper event setup and client satisfaction.
