Job summary

Design Cuisine, part of Elior North America, is seeking an Event Producer in the Arlington, VA area. The role manages events of varying sizes, maintains relationships with venues, and collaborates with the Account Executive to coordinate production and client activity.

The candidate will attend and manage events on-site and help recruit/train new producers. Based in Arlington, VA, the position is full-time and onsite, with opportunities to work across the VA/DC/MD region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of administrative experience.
• 3+ years in event planning, sales or event management.
• Experience in hotel/hospitality/catering.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with clients, vendors and coworkers.
• Flexibility to work a varying schedule.

Responsibilities

• Attend, oversee and execute events as identified.
• Cultivate relationships with venues, clients and staff.
• Prepare event folders, menus, and production timelines.
• Manage on-site events and coordinate third-party vendors.
