Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an intermediate power distribution technician to set up and operate distribution systems in a hospitality setting. You will supervise a team, guide staff, and manage power equipment while maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities include on-site coordination with guests, creating load-in/out plans, and ensuring safety procedures. A driver’s license is required, ESTA PDT certification may be pursued within 12 months, and experience in power distribution is

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience.
  • 3+ years of power distribution experience.
  • Valid driver’s license required for company vehicles.
  • Ability to obtain ESTA PDT certification within first 12 months of employment.
  • Candidate should have Level 2/3 proficiency in required skills as per Skill Set Addendum.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and break down intermediate power distribution equipment as specified.
  • Inspect and maintain power distribution equipment and cabling.
  • Provide excellent service and maintain client relationships.
  • Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
  • Create and execute show load-in/load-out plans for shows and productions.
  • Set and strike electrical power for sessions, breaks, labs, and events.
  • Build and modify cables and assist in fabricating components.
  • Troubleshoot power concerns as they arise.
  • Cross-train team members and assist with AV setup/strikes as needed.
