Job summary

A leading service provider in the United States is looking for a Power Distribution Field Service Representative to install and maintain electrical equipment across various locations. The candidate will require 2-4 years of relevant service experience and strong technical skills. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, conducting maintenance, and providing technical support to customers. This role offers travel opportunities nationwide, with all expenses covered. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant mechanical, electrical, or power distribution service experience.
• Experience with critical systems infrastructure such as switchgear, UPS, and fire detection.

Responsibilities

• Installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing customer equipment.
• Performing warranty work and preventive maintenance.
• Testing and calibrating equipment with technical tools.
• Providing technical support and product training.
• Documenting all service activities and maintaining service records.
• Advising customers on upgrades and best practices.

Skills

Strong technical knowledge of electronic/electrical components

Ability to read blueprints and technical documents

Proficient with computers (email, databases, word processing)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Physical ability to stand, walk, sit and lift up to 50 pounds
