We are seeking an Events Planner who will support our Mission Technologies Division, which has over 100 facilities worldwide and provides capabilities to support an all-domain force that includes artificial intelligence and machine learning, autonomous systems, critical nuclear operations, LVC systems, cyberspace strategies, and platform modernization.

This position requires onsite work at The United States Army Ground Vehicle System Center (GVSC) located in Warren, MI.

Position Summary

Supports organizational visibility, technology transition, and public-private collaboration initiatives through strategic event coordination, technology transfer initiatives, and internal process optimization. Serves as a liaison between internal directorates and external partners to ensure seamless planning, execution, and communication aligned with Army modernization objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinates organizational participation in high-visibility engagements and events, leading end-to-end logistics planning, communications support, and facilitating collaboration among internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution and representation.
  • Manages and maintains the Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA), Test Service Agreement (TSA), Educational Partnership Agreement (EPA) trackers, monitoring the status of agreements from initial draft through final execution.
  • Collaborates with internal teams and external industry partners to negotiate and execute agreements to ensure mutual alignment and compliance.
  • Supports technology transfer activities by testing and troubleshooting document routing platforms, collaborating with technical teams to improve system usability and efficiency.
  • Prepares and edits public-facing communications and internal messaging for industry outreach, ensuring alignment with policy guidance and stakeholder feedback. Interfaces with external partners and command-level stakeholders to collect, validate, and report technology and personnel data in support of collaborative initiatives.
  • Provides regular status updates and process reporting to leadership on active agreements, improving organizational awareness and accountability.
  • Advises planning teams on strategic approaches to event execution, especially under constrained resource environments, to ensure continuity of mission representation.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to refine workflow systems and document routing processes, contributing to overall process improvement efforts.
  • Acts as a coordination point for technology sharing, internal approvals, and operational planning related to public-private engagement.
  • Supports internal documentation, repository maintenance, and lessons learned efforts to continuously improve agreement and event execution workflows.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Expereince working with the DoD either directly or in a contracting capacity
  • Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance

Physical Requirements

  • Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
