Base pay range

$55,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

Disrupt Talent are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a wonderful client in the live events and immersive experiences business as they expand their operations into the US. This is a brilliant opportunity for an energetic, hands‑on Event Operations professional who is excited by a step up and the chance to play a key part in scaling delivery in a new market.

The business is currently delivering around 4 shows per weekend, with plans to build this significantly over the next couple of years to mirror their UK operation. You will be joining at an exciting stage of growth, taking ownership of day‑to‑day event operations, leading weekend delivery teams, and ensuring every guest experience is delivered to the highest possible standard.

Location

This role is based in Boston, Massachusetts, with candidates ideally located in Arlington or Westborough, or within a wider commutable area if you are happy to travel.

Hybrid working applies, with 3 days in the office and 2 working from home, alongside on‑site presence at shows as required.

Head of Regional Event Operations (Boston)

The Role

This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in delivering exceptional event experiences. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of multiple immersive events, ensuring teams are trained, processes are followed, and everything runs smoothly from set‑up through to close.

In the early stage of the operation, you will need to be on site at shows regularly until you have a strong understanding of the delivery model and are confident the weekend teams are fully trained and operating to standard.

Mon - Friday, (with a need to be at weekend Events when required)

Key Responsibilities
  • Own day‑to‑day event operations across multiple immersive shows
  • Lead operational planning from confirmation through to post‑show wrap
  • Manage weekend show teams, ensuring they are trained, confident and aligned
  • Troubleshoot calmly and professionally in real time during live delivery
  • Ensure outstanding customer service and guest experience standards
  • Coordinate logistics, schedules, staffing, equipment, stock and consumables
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and venue partners
  • Ensure compliance with venue rules, local regulations and safety standards
  • Conduct post‑show debriefs and support continuous improvement
About You
  • 1 to 2 years experience within event operations or live events delivery
  • Energetic, confident and excited about stepping into a broader role
  • Comfortable managing multiple events and priorities at once
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem‑solving ability
  • Strong customer service mindset and passion for live experiences
  • Highly organised, proactive and reliable
  • Happy with a Monday to Friday role, with show attendance as needed in the early phase
  • Based in or around the Boston area, ideally Arlington or Westborough (or willing to travel)
