Horizon Hospitality Associates, Inc. is seeking an Event Operations Manager to lead all aspects of on-premise events at our dedicated banquet and catering facility in Overland Park.

You will supervise a team of catering and event staff and ensure hospitality, quality, safety and professionalism across all stages of events. The role focuses on executing events from planning through post-event follow-up, coordinating with Catering Sales, Culinary, Operations, and Event Staff, maintaining readiness

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, catering, events, or venue management.
• Experience leading teams in a high-volume guest service environment.
• Experience managing events, banquets, weddings, corporate functions, or hospitality operations.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

A premier, passionate catering group is seeking a proven leader for their Event Operations Manager opening. This group is known for delivering exceptional quality in both food, service and hospitality with a track-record of success. Armed with a dedicated team of catering and event staff, this role will oversee the operations and execution of all on-premise events at their dedicated banquet and catering facility. Handling 4+mil in annual sales volume, success in this role will be found in a candidate whose experience is focused in leading operations and execution for catered events of all shapes and sizes.

Compensation Package Details

Base Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
