The National Building Museum is seeking a part-time Overnight Events Support associate to assist during evening and overnight hours. You will help set up and break down tables and chairs, oversee vendor and client activities, and protect museum assets during events and load-out.
The role requires late night availability and ability to lift heavy equipment. Qualifications include a High School diploma, facility or office management experience, and event logistics experience.

This position provides logistical support to Events and other operations departments of the Museum during the evening and overnight hours. These activities include setting up and breaking down tables and chairs, overseeing vendor and client activities during evening event hours, protecting the museum’s physical assets, and loading dock management. The position is part time and compensation for hours worked from 12am-6 am will be paid an overnight differential.

This position does require the ability to move about the building continuously during the shift and to different floors in order to effectively oversee the set up and break down of events and vendors. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and frequently push, pull, and move equipment and fixtures.
