Job summary

fal is seeking an Event Marketing Manager in San Francisco to lead hands-on production of community and developer events, webinars, and partner activations. You will own run-of-show, speaker coordination, venue logistics, and post-event follow-up to ensure exceptional attendee experiences.

You’ll work across Marketing, Community, Sales, Partnerships, and Brand to scale the program, travel as needed, and help build repeatable processes for fal’s growing event portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in event marketing, event production, developer or community marketing.
• Own events end-to-end from planning to onsite/live execution.
• Hands-on experience producing webinars or virtual events with technical detail.
• Strong project management for multiple programs and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to attendee experience and clear communication.
• Able to travel for events and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution for community and developer programs (meetups, workshops, hackathons, dinners).
• Produce webinars and livestreams from setup to post-event follow-up and follow established run-of-shows.
• Collaborate with Community Marketing to translate ideas into memorable experiences.
• Support partner activations, ABM events, and customer programs as needed.
• Create event timelines, staffing plans, and Know Before You Go docs.
• Coordinate venues, vendors, registration, onsite logistics, and budgets.
• Track attendance and learnings to improve future events.
